TALENT AND IDEAS: THE POWER TO TRANSFORM
We’ll be highlighting global women leaders who are making or have made a profound impact on their organizations, as well as new and established talent and innovators who are pushing change in every direction. We’ll also be tapping top minds from government, academia, and philanthropy for their thoughts on addressing the world’s big problems.
The agenda will be driven by these program tracks:
LEADERSHIP
REDEFINING LEADERSHIP: Today’s top leaders—female Fortune 500 CEOs, political leaders, educators, and change makers—share how their challenges, successes, and failures shaped them and their careers. From professional to personal, first job to corner office, our MPW participants talk about the toughest decisions they’ve made and the best ways to inspire and innovate in times of great uncertainty and austerity.
GLOBAL BUSINESS
DOING BUSINESS WITHOUT BORDERS: Globalization has transformed business and competitiveness—and uncovered a wide world of talent and resources. Opportunity abounds for many, but comes at a cost to others. Our MPW leaders share expertise on the outlook for the global economy. We examine economic trends and big ideas pragmatically: to give participants valuable ways to capitalize on global uncertainty.
GROWTH AND INNOVATION
REINVENTING YOUR BUSINESS AND YOURSELF: “The Future is Now”—and flexibility and forward thinking are keys to success. What are the best ways to reinvent? Who are the masters of reinvention whose careers epitomize ingenuity, resilience, and growth? And in the spirit of this year’s MPW Summit theme, Talent and Ideas: The Power to Transform, we’ll talk with next-generation leaders who will shape organizations of the future.
SOCIAL GOOD
Presented by ING
PAYING IT FORWARD: The social issues that matter to our MPW participants—including education, global mentoring, leveling the playing field for women—spark conversation and action onstage and off throughout the Summit. Game changers in philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, among many others in the MPW community, share their thoughts on how we can best use our power– individually and collectively–to make the most productive impact toward the social good
